OUR HILL COUNTRY COMMUNITY

  • ​​​ C.A.M. (Christian Assistance Ministries)

             Collection of food and monetary donations, volunteer for food pantry duty.


  • CARES (Crisis Assistance Response Emergency Shelter)

             Clothing collections and monetary donation.


  • HABITAT FOR HUMANITY    

              Volunteers help build homes and help feed the  other volunteers. 



  • ​PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians And Gays) 

          Monetary donation and church members joined to be mentors and give their support.  

          Meetings are the Second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.  1016 Jefferson Street

         (the Unity Church).


  • TXUUJM (Texas Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry)  A state wide justice ministry raising the voice of UU values in a public arena.

  • ​TEXAS IMPACT - Texas Impact is a statewide religious grassroots network whose members include individuals, congregations, and governing bodies of the Christian, Jewish and Muslim faiths. Texas Impact exists to advance state public policies that are consistent with universally held social principles of the Abrahamic traditions.




  • UBARU CAMP and RETREAT CENTER  -    UBarU is a Unitarian Universalist Camp and Retreat Center located on 142 rugged acres in the storied Hill Country near Kerrville, Texas. UBarU serves UU congregations as well as other groups consistent with the mission for religious retreats and educational programs.
